PARENTING PROGRAMS

Co-Parenting During Divorce

Co-Parenting is the term used when parents have divorced or separated yet have some type of shared custody. As you can imagine, this is easier said than done and children are often caught, intentionally or not, in the middle.

The goal of co-parenting is to establish procedures that enhance the child/children’s confidence and faith in their respective parents to minimize the strain and distress of having more than one parental environment.

This can be especially though when divorce/custody is contentious.  My job is to show parents the significant benefits of committing to collaboration, cooperation, and compromise with the other parent as well as the damaging costs to them and their child(ren).
